Lake Valloxen is the special open-air paradise for people living in Knivsta. It is surrounded by beautiful manor-house estates and has fine bathing places. In winter the lake is a paradise for skaters.
The beautiful Kungshamn-Morga nature reserve, along the shore of Lake Mälaren, comprises pastures, shore meadows and forests.
Lunsen Forest is a glorious wild forest crossed by many nature trails.

The Uppland Trail is a 400 km-long trail from the river Dalälven in the north to Lake Mälaren in the south.
From Knivsta you can either trek north through Lunsen Forest to Uppsala or south to Sigtuna. You can join the trail at Knivsta railway station.
